Contour and Colour
Shaping new landscapes using sand and projection.
By pouring, shaping and moulding the sand we created new mountains and valleys, new landscapes and scenes. We used the photos from previous weeks work to project onto the landscapes. We also made slides and projected these too.
These sessions allow people with more complex needs to explore a range of arts including movement/dance performance, digital media and sound within a highly sensory environment.

Contours
Projection and Sand Shapes.
We created sand sculptures and shapes and projected images onto our contours. The images were photos taken over the past few weeks of the cave paintings made during sessions.

Cave Painting
Today we have been creating our own cave paintings ready to decorate the cave next week. First we explored movements and actions that could inspire us in our work. We moulded and moved our bodies and shaped ours too. Then, with clay on sticks we drew onto our cave floor, making one big picture.

Going Underground
In this Wednesday's sessions we travelled underground into a cave like environment to create our own cave paintings and prints. Inspired by artists from the Old Stone Age, we used clay and mud to create our designs and pictures.
