Sensations Re-Act

Soft Silk, Smells and Sensations.

Today we used a parachute we created a billowing silk tent that we could sit in.We introduced scented strips of fabric; greens, reds, orange and yellow; peppermint, lemon and vanilla. We had tastes of strawberries, oranges, lemons and peppermint creams. mmmm! Sharing soft sounds and memories we sat under our colour lit silken canopy. 
We won't be meeting for a couple of weeks so do join us on April 15th when our next series of session will start.

Sound, Colour  and Sculpture. Re-Act

Today was all about using the skills we have been working on over the past few weeks.  We made textural sounds to inspire movement and sculpture building; coloured by projected drawings and also visa versa! After spending sometime exploring what possible, we finished by all working together to create a space full of interesting sounds and music, movement with fixed and moving sculptures.

Colour Me Re-Act

Last Wednesday we created a space  of layered nets, paper and white light. Though the session our space changed as we made cascades of sculpted paper and added colour through digital drawings.

Sounds Re-Act

Our space was filled with cubicles of different  sounds. Metal, wood, drumskins,  keyboard  and microphone. We explored the different sounds that the instruments made and then played together to build a soundscape. Our grand finale  included solos and duets.
