These sessions allow people with more complex needs to explore a range of arts including movement/dance performance, digital media and sound within a highly sensory environment.

Ritual 13 Christmas! Greens and Reds, Christmas Wreaths, Silvers and sparkles, Tinsel and Lights. We started the session today by making shapes on the floor with sequined tape. Our shapes caught the light beautifully. We used green and red fabric strips to create abstract wreaths and a red green space. Reflections from shiny silver bowls and mirrors added light shapes. Of course we finished with a taste of Christmas; pud, pies, oranges and lemons. What a lovely smell too. Merry Christmas everyone!
Offerings , Silver and Shrines. Today we have been exploring rituals around offerings and food. We created our own special space using things that caught and reflected the light. We used different sounds to create an atmosphere. We then took our offerings into our special space.

Ritual 12 Rituals of water, light , circles and life. Using the sounds and music from the Derwent Pulse Project we created flowing watery shapes with our bodies and white silks in red light. The red Pulse light spheres were introduced to carry, move with and pass between us with pulsating sound from Pulse. Swinging light spheres added a new element of circular and elliptical movement.
