Lunar Landscapes
A trip into space took us through the satellite belt and on into outer space before landing on the moon.
After a fantastic Purple Peach Club Night where our chill out room was showing a sound and space installation by artist Andy Wlliams, today we took a rocket into space to land in the installation. We took a walk in space, explored the lunar landscape, collected rock samples before finally landng back on earth.

Changing Landscapes
Still exploring contours and landscapes, today we have been shaping using gravity and force.
From a large stretched net we created valleys, mountains and underground caves and spaces.

Landscapes
Continuing with the theme of contours we have been shaping surfaces from flat to valley and mountain.
We used different parts of our bodies to raise or lower areas of stretched net; pulling, pushing, reaching, leaning. We tied strips of fabric onto the netting so that we we could shape the net in different ways and from a distance. We then added colour and texture with fabric strips and projections.
