Swamp.
Squelchy, sucking mud; damp, dripping spaces; dark, dank caves, warm enclosing corners. Today we have been through them, around them and in them. With layers of textured sound inspiring us, we explored the environment, changing and adding to it as we went.
These sessions allow people with more complex needs to explore a range of arts including movement/dance performance, digital media and sound within a highly sensory environment.

Geological Journeys
This year Level Centre will be exhibiting at Cresswell Crags as part of the Limestone Journeys Project so today we started our journey, exploring texture, contour, light, dark, layers and all kinds of themes inspired by geology. We have started with mud, glorious mud; it's texture and qualities. After creating a swamp we travelled through, over and under it. The amazing vocal sounds and keyboard music produced by our performers inspired some fantastic atmospheric movement and imagery.
